Over the weekend of 11th and 12th August, Kenmore scouts attended Operation Nighthawk at Crows Nest.
Every year thousands of scouts converge on a quiet country town in the Darling Downs for Nighthawk, an overnight hike that challenges scouts to navigate a route using compass and map while completing challenges at bases on the course. This year Nighthawk was at Crows Nest near Toowoomba and Kenmore scouts entered two patrols. Both patrols competed well but most importantly the scouts had a great time, learnt so much and are all keen to come next year (after a long sleep).
